Things heat up as the Presidential campaigns are officially in full swing and it’s COCKUS TIME!! 🎊 🎊 And the Big dogs are here to play!

For anyone confused about whose cockus we’re talking about, it’s Iowas.

All eyes are on Iowa this week, as they host the first contest in the nominating process. Here are some of the big names you’ll be seeing repping the Republicans:

• Nikki Haley

• Ron DeSantis

• Vivek Ramaswamy (he dropped out btw, in the time of this writing)

• Donald Trump

The cockus is a good way for these candidates to preach their motives and speak about changes they’ll bring to the country. They seek to get voters on their side, gain support and hope to be 1st place 🥇 in the initial polls.

Doing well in Iowa is a crucial momentum boost for candidates- “winning” or leading the polls after the first cockus can be a good confidence boost for a candidate and can also help influence other states.

It’ll be important to see how social media can impact this momentum. If a candidate can somehow win in “social media’s eyes”, they could run away as favourites for the rest of the elections.

We’re hoping for surprises in this race, but regardless it’s exciting to see what’s in store!

The bar is VERY low these days 😪 Being able to talk and show your personality can really make a big difference on these dating apps. Sometimes the DM’s and messages you send just lack character, plus texting is kinda boring on these apps.

Change it up- let them hear your voice! Send a voice note that sounds positive and engaging. Imagine having a conversation with your friend- be polite, make jokes, keep it casual.

Nike and Tiger’s confusing breakup

BIG news from the sports world today.

Tiger Woods and Nike have ended their partnership after 27 YEARS! That’s longer than most marriages in the US!

Tiger revolutionized the game of golf while wearing that swoosh across his chest and Nike stuck with him throughout his career (both highs and lows) while earning billions together 💰️.

So this breakup seems… unexpected?

Why would Nike walk away from Tiger? He is the MJ of golf. That means you keep Tiger in the company FOREVER. Throw the whole damn chequebook at him- BUT TIGER STAYS!!!

The boys, just as mind boggled like the rest of us, asked some good questions:

• Was Tiger’s asking price too high for Nike?

• Does he have a better deal from someone else? (potentially On Running and Callaway)

• Charlie Woods (Tiger’s son) is a future superstar in the sport! Why would they let go of a potential father-son sponsorship for the company?

Dee might honestly be right. This decision by Nike seems lacklustre and… well, for a lack of better term. STUPID! 😡 

Whatever, Nike’s loss cuz Tiger is about to get a BAG 💰️ somewhere else. However, we’ll miss seeing him in the iconic red polo 😭
